Folio3 executed a streamlined approach to migrate Bird B Gone's BigCommerce store from the v2 to v3 product experience:

  • Preparation and Assessment: Folio3 conducted a detailed assessment to tailor an upgrade strategy specific to Bird B Gone's needs, focusing on a customized approach for the transition to v3 product experience.
  • Upgrade Process: The first and foremost part of any upgrade/migration activity is ensuring a proper programmatic backup of the store catalog data via the BigCommerce Management APIs. The process then involved dissociating and deleting the legacy product options and option sets.
