Shopify is enhancing the shopping experience for both merchants and customers with the introduction of more flexible and enhanced shipping options for subscription orders.
What’s New:
- Subscribers can now choose their preferred shipping method for the initial shipment of their subscription.
- Recurring shipments will automatically default to the most cost-effective shipping option, streamlining the process for both customers and merchants.
- This flexibility extends to carts containing both one-time and subscription products, ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
Gradual Rollout and Availability:
This new feature is currently being rolled out to all merchants selling subscriptions on Shopify. Full implementation is expected by June 7, 2024.
